Bring a change to your school which means the world!
“We have been working with SEE for a number of years and always appreciate their stellar professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. The students who enrol via their agency are vetted thoroughly to ensure they are capable of coping with the fast paced delivery of our curriculums. SEE act swiftly when we require their support which allows us to place full trust in them. The interactions between our students and the international students is vital in developing their understanding of different cultures. We have enjoyed meeting students from all over the world via SEE including Chile, Argentina and Italy. If not for this exchange programme, our students may never have the chance to engage with such diversity, particularly as our school is located far from the cultural melting pots of the nearest cities”.
Nadia Abdulgani, Ferndown Upper, Dorset

“At Seaford Head School Sixth Form, we are delighted to welcome International Students from SEE to join us for part of their sixth form education. Given that these students are highly intelligent, they fit in very well with our own cohort of high achieving young people. During their time with us, the students from SEE make excellent progress both academically and socially; furthermore, they enhance the experience of Seaford Head students with their varying perspectives on a wide range of cultural, political, economic and other current affairs. Many of our students form long-lasting friendships with our highly valued visitors from SEE and we take great pleasure in learning they have visited each other in their respective countries. We look forward to welcoming more students from SEE to our successful school sixth form for years to come”!

Mrs Samantha Alvarez, Head of Sixth Form

“We are very lucky to receive exchange students from SEE each year. The students settle in very well and make long term friendships with our students this also continues once they have gone home. SEE are in constant contact from application stage until the student goes home and are happy to help with any queries along the way. I would not hesitate in recommend SEE moving forward if you would like a student to come and study in the UK as an exchange student”. Mrs Levey,

How it works
Students come to the UK from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Chile and Mexico and stay for 4 to 5 months. These brave young people are participating in a cultural immersion programme in accordance with Immigration Rules Appendix PA2. South England Exchange Ltd suggests students and handles the admissions process in the way which is easiest foir each schools. We also arrange background check and monitor the host families and refer arrangements to social services if required.
Why choose South England Exchange
Expertise in safeguarding and supervision
We are the only exchange organisation with a voluntary accreditation by the Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students. We embraced the opportunity to make our processes even more rigorous by working with AEGIS.
‘‘The organisation demonstrates that they have a close and effective working relationship with the partner organisations to ensure that all necessary information is shared. Care is taken to arrange suitable placements in both schools and homestays in order that the students’ needs are fully met’.
We additionally have our own school, South England International, which provided us for an opportunity to undergo an Ofsted inspection and achieve a ‘Good’ grade.
‘Leaders provide support for every student. Their excellent induction work ensures each student feels safe and settled in new surroundings. Leaders carefully match students to host
families and plan a bespoke curriculum for each young person’.
My experience in the UK was wonderful, the landscape was gorgeous and everyone was so nice! The school experience was wonderful, everyone was so nice and welcoming! The school staff were very friendly towards me, always trying to help me when needed. I became good friends with the classmates especially the history/geography ones. I have learned many things; from how to develop photographs; to why is important to use Google maps when taking a bus in a different country, ‘cus if you end up sleeping in one you may almost end up in London during the rain; about the Mid-Tudor Crisis and why you can’t put a child to reign over a nation; about some current British politics; many things around town especially the Roman stuff. Over all a magical experience that I would 100% do it again. My only complaint is that it didn’t lasted enough!

The experience I had in the UK made my dream of doing an exchange come true! I couldn’t have asked for a better host family. They treated me truly like family and I felt part of all of it. The school is just amazing, I was impressed with the education system. Having the chance to be friends with people from other countries really amazed me. It was incredible to share our cultures. I will take everything I learned in this period in England with me forever. Living in another country really changes you for the better and broadens your thinking. I look foward to visit England again.
