Every student arrives with their own strengths, ambitions and challenges. Our role is not to change who they are, but to create an environment in which they can grow in confidence, independence and maturity, one step at a time. A central part of the Brighton House philosophy is giving young people the space, encouragement and responsibility they need to flourish. We recognise that this can sometimes be as challenging for parents as it is for students, which is why we have carefully designed clear routines, thoughtful support and open communication to make that transition feel both safe and reassuring. We have spent many months preparing for your child’s arrival. Every detail has been carefully considered so that, from the very first day, students and parents alike can feel confident that they are in capable and caring hands.

One of the greatest gifts we can give young people is the opportunity to grow. We encourage you to trust your child, trust the journey and allow them the space to become more confident and independent. Students who get involved in school life, activities and new experiences are often the happiest and gain the most from their time with us. Your encouragement can make all the difference. Above all, encourage your child to reach out if they need support. Every student receives an invitation card for a conversation, and we hope they will use it whenever they need someone to listen, whether at Brighton House or online.

Using the card they have been given, the QR code will take your child to this page to book a meeting. You could also arrange time with us there. Juliet speaks fluent German and French and understands Portuguese as well as written Spanish and Italian.

We value your voice. Whether you have a question, a concern, feedback or a suggestion, we encourage you to get in touch. Honest, respectful conversations help us build strong partnerships with families and ensure every student receives the support they need to flourish. The agency in your country will normally be your first point of contact and is there to support you throughout your child’s programme. If, however, you would prefer to speak to us directly, our door is always open. We are committed to working in partnership with families, agencies and schools to achieve the very best outcome for every student.
