Beratung

Alle Schüler werden von einer Organisation im Entsendeland an uns verwiesen. Auf diese Weise können wir absolut sicher sein, dass jeder Schüler und seine Eltern vor der Buchung eines Programms die bestmögliche Beratung und Vorbereitung erhalten haben. Wir senden Ihnen gerne eine Liste von Organisationen in Ihrem Land zu. Die Organisationen stellen den Schülern unsere Broschüre zur Verfügung, in der alle Schulen und Informationen über das Programm enthalten sind, oder unsere Broschüre wurde als Grundlage für die Informationen in der Broschüre der Organisation verwendet. Der Schüler wählt eine Schule aus oder bittet uns, sie auszuwählen.

Anmeldung

Die Studenten füllt eine ANTRAGSFORMULAR. Dies kann als Anhang gesendet werden. Dies kann per Hand oder elektronisch geschehen. Hier ist ein Beispiel für ein ausgefülltes Antragsformular.

Die Organisation lädt das Formular auf unser Hochladen der Bewerbung eines Studenten. Keine Sorge, du kannst auch nach dem Hochladen noch Änderungen vornehmen.

Sobald die Bewerbung hochgeladen wurde, wird eine automatische E-Mail-Bestätigung an den Partner und den/die Schüler/in gesendet. Manche Schüler/innen wählen eine Schule oder wünschen sich ausdrücklich einen Bruder oder eine Schwester oder eine Familie mit zwei Elternteilen. Jeder hat ein Einzelzimmer, es ist also nicht nötig, extra zu buchen.

Vorbereitung

1. One of our online coaches arranges a meeting with all students a couple of months before arrival. Don’t worry, your programme acceptance doesn’t depend on the meeting, we just like to talk with you about the right subject choices and school in the UK. If you struggle with English or shyness, we will enrol you on our online communication course at no extra cost.

2. Wir beginnen damit, dich mit einer Familie und einer Schule zusammenzubringen.

Platzierung

We release all placements on the same day. Placements for students arriving in August/ September are released mid June. Placements for students arriving in January are released mid November. The organisation in your country will give you the log in details for your online account with us. When you log in, you will see all about your new home! Of course, you will also see how to confirm the placement, book the pre-departure meeting, choose subjects, buy uniform (if in year 10 or 11), tell us your flight details, book trips, download the handbooks and contact your host family.

Ankunft

We will be at the airport to meet every student who arrives on the usual day. We will make sure the transfer to the new home goes smoothly and the family will be waiting at the destination.

Within 1 week of arrival, all students attend an in person orientation seminar in groups of about 6, so everyone has a chance to get to know each other and find out how things work.
